After you have created an incident by either phone call, email, or form you will receive an email about your incident at your preferred email address. The email will be from “UMIT Service Desk”.
In the main body of the email there will be a blue hyperlinked incident number. Click on the blue hyperlinked incident number. A new window will open in your web browser.
Sign in using your UM single sign on credentials.
Once you have clicked the hyperlinked incident number the incident will open in a new web browser. Click on the “Notes” tab under the incident information to view responses from the help desk about your incident.
To add a response to your incident, type your message in the “Additional comments” text box in the “Notes” tab.
Click the “Save” button in the top right hand corner to submit your message.
