Assign LinkedIn Learning Content

LinkedIn Learning is a professionally curated video library offering a variety of courses in leadership, professional development, creative media, and information technology. With this integration, you can easily incorporate LinkedIn Learning content as assignments or module content within Blackboard Learn Ultra.

Assigning LinkedIn Learning Content

The LinkedIn Learning integration allows you to add videos, courses, learning paths, or collections to your course, added as a graded or non-graded assignment.

  • Instructors and faculty can easily discover, preview, filter and deep-link LinkedIn Learning content and sync course progress and grades into Blackboard Learn.
  • Students can enjoy rich, engaging LinkedIn Learning content and embedded playback directly inside their Blackboard course.
  • Assignments and Grades: LinkedIn Learning syncs grades, progress, and comments from multiple sources into the gradebook, reducing instructor effort and any potential errors.

Considerations

  • By default, all LinkedIn Learning content is added as a graded assignment. You can change the points possible, or other assignment settings and whether to automatically post grades.
  • If you experience issues logging in or adding content to a course, the issue usually has to do with being logged into LinkedIn Learning or having an already active Learning session in another tab and/or browser.
    • Fix 1: Try logging out of LinkedIn Learning in any tabs or browsers it is currently active in.
    • Fix 2: Try clearing your cache and cookies or launching the tool in a private/incognito browser window.
