Generating Reports

Course instructors can run several types of course reports to view information about course usage and activity. View summaries of course usage such as which course areas are used most frequently and course access patterns for specific students. 

Course and Student Activity Reports

Instructors create customized reports of course use which include course areas, tools and which areas are used most frequently by students. Course reports can let instructors know when students are active on their Blackboard site and offer insights into ways to improve course design.

Considerations

  • To view reports that include hit or access statistics, a hit is tracked each time a request is sent to Blackboard Learn (e.g. when tracking the use of the discussion board).
  • Report data is automatically refreshed every 4 hours for all reports except activity reports. Activity data is refreshed once per day at midnight.
  • Select the Download options icon to save report data either as an image or PDF (Original/Ultra)
